“Kings defenseman Drew Doughty, 20, was among the 15 first-time Olympians and 12 players 25 or younger were selected to the team during a nationally televised news conference. The captain will be defenseman Scott Niedermayer, one of seven members of the struggling Ducks to earn an Olympic nomination Wednesday.
Tiger Loses Another Sponsor
AT&T ended its sponsorship agreement with Tiger Woods, spokesmen annoucned today. Woods earned roughly $ 90 million a year from his endorsement deals but until his golfing break these were sealed in stone. But the scandals recetly put the spoke in more than a billion dollar sponsorship pipeline.
Nike will stand by Woods, but Procter & Gamble.’s Gillette division has limited Woods’ role in its new marketing programs. Swiss watchmaker Tag Heuer has scaled back watch ads in the US.
