The Russian flag was raised over Vancouver tonight for the Closing Ceremonies of the Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Of course, Vancouver hadn’t seen much of the Russian flag all that much in the preceding weeks, (cough cough). And if history proves a lesson, that means a “payback” Olympics where the hardware and precious metals swing the native country’s way.

Well, well, the vaunted 50M race in Vancouver was run today and Canada didn’t win any medals. What’s that you say? The 50-meter race? The one the blind skier was disqualified from, by the Canadian team, so the field of four better Canuck x-country athletes could medal?
